Voltaic Snail

Actinidia was a Kalosian searcher ! They worked mostly on documenting wild Pokémon and their behavior , and was specialized in Feliformia Pokémon (especially cats !). They traveled a lot but they were officially still a Kalos resident , their home being in Laverre City.

They worked alongside Sycamore to talk about the hypothetical mega evolution of Meowstic , before it was discovered by the MZ team.

During the Team Flare event , they moved temporally in Lumiose City to assist the police when needed and assist Sycamore with whatever he was working on. They saw Emma and Mimi a few time , but never took time to talk with her , as their focus was mostly on Mimi and Mimi was not really giving sign of wanting to be around anyone else. During the post game , Actinidia was called over by Looker , without really understanding why until they arrived in the office. Looker felt like Mimi was acting weird around this weird person in a suit he was trying to catch. Actinidia gleefully offered to help , and it made it clear Mimi knew the person in the suit. Looker said that it must have been Emma. After they arrested the culprit , Xerosic , Actinidia moved in Lumiose to take care of Sycamore's lab during his absence , as he quickly left , probably out of guilt or because staying in Kalos reminded him of too many bad memories. They stayed for a few year , until Interpol reached out again , telling them about Mable's future in the lab , and about how they were offering more freedom to Xerosic , in exchange for his intellect and his knowledge, as it could be very useful for them to master the Expansion Suit . (also because apparently in Pokémon they don't like jail )

They deemed that Xerosic was partly responsible for the incidents and the crime he was judged for , as he seemed to have been manipulated by something during most of the events , although not completely. It has been theorized that it was his Malamar doing.

They said that they needed someone to look over him and his work , to avoid any other Essentia or Ultimate Weapon issues. Actinidia accepted , under the condition that they could move back near Laverre City , as Lumiose was starting to feel overwhelming for them. Xerosic and Actinidia worked in a smaller laboratory , near the Poke ball Factory , and Actinidia started asking for more Cat related Expansion suit and Xerosic didn't put up much resistance to work on them , maybe out of guilt , or maybe because Actinidia was very convincing. Over the years of working together (or maybe month on Actinidia's side) they began to get closer , and each others confident. And then they kissed. Xerosic kisser. Actinidia was in love first tho.

Prior to the fusion , he was not overly talkative , but not shy at all. He was pretty helpful and willing to listen to others.

He often was tasked to help around the Kings , and the sage , which made him a good element to accompagny Briar during her journey.

He got along well with Braxton at the beginning , but they slowly fell out of friendship when Sprites stopped talking and isolated himself to eat.

Braxton grew wary of him , and became overprotective of Briar , thinking something was wrong.

When during the middle of night, , Sprites woke up with his sleeping bag and his tunic soaked in blood. While walking to the nearest point of water to clean it up , and to try to soothe the pain in his back , he stumbled upon Braxton.

Braxton was quick to accuse him of hurting Briar upon seeing the blood and pushed him out his way to check on the King , only to find out she was totally fine and just confused by the screaming in the middle of the night.

That's the moment where they realized Sprites had spikes/mane piercing the skin on his back and that the blood was his.

He finally found the courage to speak again to explain what happened and express the pure guilt that ran through his veins since then , as he was sure he had killed his beloved Pokémon , despite it being an accident.

During the two years gap between BW1 and BW2 , Ghetsis and Colress heard about Team Flare before the public was made aware of their existence , as Ghetsis was planning to extend his power across multiple regions (via hearsay , radio interferance and basically recognizing the early sign of some cult like group being created as he has been there , done that , himself) . Instantly suspicious of this group and knowing that Lysandre was rich , intelligent and popular, Ghetsis decided to investigate further more.

He tasked Vermillon and Clémentine to infiltrate Team flare , by joining like any regular member would and gather informations.

They both met Ramzi here , and befriended him. Clémentine tried to get closer to the scientists. After a few months , Ramzi confided in Vermillon his doubt about Lysandre plans , unknowingly offering precious intel to a traitor. Now that Clémentine and Vermillon were aware of the presence of a weapon Lysandre planned to use , they quickly putted the string together and told Ghetsis about the Ultimate Weapon that once terrorized Kalos. Colress and Ghetsis plans shifted to thief. Clémentine and Vermillon were ordered to find the blueprints of the Weapon , or any informations about it and to transmit it to the Neo Plasma HQ. Clémentine was then asked to sabotage the Ultimate Weapon once enough informations were gathered. They couldn't swarm and take it without risking everything. Brute force wouldn't do. Ghetsis couldn't risk Lysandre owning such power when he was the one that deserved to rule over everything. Neo Plasma would steal the technology and be the only one able to rule by fear. However , the first attempt at sabotaging the Weapon failed and the presence of a traitor was now all was talked about among Team Flare. Vermillon was asked to ditch , making him the first suspect to the eyes of Team Flare , taking away the attention from Clémentine. She layed low for a while , trying to keep his relationship with the other scientist stable. The perfect grunt , the perfect colleague. Once she heard about the planned date of the Weapon activation , she was to sabotage it again , and failure could not be an option. Unfortunately , while the Weapon didn't nuke Kalos as it was planned by Lysandre , it still fired , and collapsed on itself. Neo Plasma never heard of Clémentine again. Colress and Ghetsis , in the meantime , used whatever they could get from the blueprints to power up Kyurem power and freeze Opulecid during the BW2 events. Clémentine actually survived , thanks to the ray of immortality of the weapon. But being further away from the blast than Lysandre , she still sustained consequent physical damage , and recovered her memory rather quickly compared to L . She still acts as if she doesn't remember anything , laying low again. Hoping that she can escape any kind of judgement.
