Daniel had successfully snuck away from Roman which was not an easy feat. Luckily, someone else snatched his attention and Daniel was able to escape the heavy and loud atmosphere to find some sort of peace. While the music, dancing and heavy breathing was always something that helped Daniel forget his troubles, in this moment all he wanted was the isolation. But just as he reached the exit he saw another felt the same. Daniel almost didn’t follow, if it wasn’t for the crippling and growing anxiety within forcing the man out of the building he wouldn’t have. He tried to move as slowly and as quietly as possible but he was caught. Bewildered eyes fell on Nolan, and a soft, somewhat anxious, exhale left him. “Uh-- no take all the minutes you need I just--” With a roll of the eyes Daniel scorned himself as he pulled a cigarette out of his back pocket. “Want a smoke?”

“Yeah, yeah I know-- But this is important.” Daniel insisted, watching as his best friend trotted toward him. His smile strengthening with every squeaky step. “Bruce, -- Did you take him out for a walk or anything this morning? I lowkey can’t find him.” Despite his attempt to keep a cool composure, the fear and panic was still evident in his gaze. “Maybe, left the door open when you went to practice?”

He wasn’t quite sure where he was until he saw Nat answer the door, and relief washed over him like a calming tide. “Thanks,” he responded softly, shuffling into her apartment and dropping his backpack on the ground with a hard thud. Slowly and cautiously removing his shoes he sort of ignored her question at first. Truthfully, he was hopelessly drunk. Which, probably became more evident with how hard it was for him to take off his shoes. The man wobbling slightly before ultimately falling against the wall behind him. “My legs must have gotten longer in the past twenty four hours. I think I just... need to lay down.”
