"Ah, well if it isn't my favorite grandbaby!" The man smiles. "I thought you were in Hoenn for the month. What brings you down here?"

"Oh you know what it is, grampa." Miku smiles. "I... made you something."

"Oh? Well, that's a surprise. Come in, the wife just made a cheri berry pie."

Miku follows the old man inside, looking around the house. It was decorated about how you'd expect an old couple's house to be decorated, and it had that certain charm to it. The old man gestures for Miku to sit, and she does so, an equally old woman bringing her a slice of pie. She gives Miku a kiss on the forehead as she places the plate on the coffee table. "I'm glad you had the time out of your schedule to come visit. He won't tell you this himself obviously, but he was talking all about how he was hoping you'd show this y--"

"I think she knows, dear." The old man cuts her off, though there's a smile on both their faces. Miku can't help but laugh either.

"So, what did you say you had for me, blueberry?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. Miku smiles, reaching into her bag. She pulls out a vinyl, handing it to him. The cardboard sleeve features Miku in what looks to be an elven cloak. The text "Yesteryear's Yearning" labels the album.

"I knew it'd be done by this time, so I wanted to make sure it was something you'd like. Track 20 is a special one. Do you still have the old record player?"

"Still have it? I keep it in perfect shape. Always love hearing what you give me. Give me just a moment."

He gets up from his recliner, opening the lid on an old radio, setting the vinyl in place. "Track 20, you said? Just a minute..." He sets the needle, sitting back down.

The crackle of the record sounds for a moment, before a familiar sequence of piano notes begins to play.

"There is a flower within my heart. Daisy, Daisy!"

"Planted one day by a glancing dart. Planted by Daisy Bell!"

"Whether she loves me or loves me not, sometimes it's hard to tell..."

"Yet I am longing to share the lot of beautiful Daisy Bell!"

The old man looks to Miku, a shocked expression on his face, speaking over the song. "You did this for me?"

The chorus of the song begin soon after he asks this. "Daisy... Daisy... Give me your answer, do...."

Miku nods, her smile never wavering as she joins the song. "I'm half crazy, all for the love of you..."

"It won't be a stylish marriage..."

"I can't afford a carriage..."

"But you'll look sweet"

"Upon the seat"

"Of a bicycle made for two!"

The old man's eyes begin to water up, getting up from the recliner once again to wrap his arms around Miku in the biggest hug. "Thank you so much for this, my little blueberry."

Miku can't help but chuckle, returning the hug as her eyes close in glee. "Happy birthday, grampa."
