I'm relentless and I'm nearing past my own boundaries of discomfort when it comes to talking about myself on Social Media. But my intentions are coming from an honest and heart-centered place. When the concept of Soul Wave Project came about, I wasn't hoping it would turn into a praise fest about what I've done or how righteous we are as partners. I genuinely just want to help people with the skills that I've learned and the experiences that I've had. And the reason why it's important to me that I make it public, is threefold: One, so that you get to know the people (outside of @SoulWaveProject) who are ACTUALLY practicing what they preach and influencing change in the communities, their industries, the world. Two, you understand that nothing is ever perfect. We're all a bit jaded and self-involved. It's not a judgement, it's just fact and I own that too. But acting in compassion and sharing the not-so-perfect details is the whole point of this project. You don't need to be perfect or entirely selfless to do some good for others. Three, I'm hoping you'll read the articles or see these moments and feel supported, feel empowered by the people we've met to do the same in your community, that maybe Soul Wave Project can help someone YOU KNOW. With so much negativity surrounding us on a constant basis, sharing how we can overcome this together by vocalizing the nitty gritty, not- so-shiny but still meaningful experiences, work, and encounters is pivitol. So... Here's the ask: will you support us in supporting others? Would you be willing to join us on this literal Road Trip and share it with someone, or everyone, who could find the resources to get the help they need? I truly would love to hear your thoughts...
