We were 19 when we first started going to Pulse. It became a weekly ritual for our friend group. And when we visited home from FSU, we kept the tradition alive. The memory of walking thru the doors every Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday night has been permanently seared into my mind. So much so, that looking at the unobstructed empty facade of what it use to be pangs so deep into my heart. We grew up here, I found myself here, I found family here. My heart will always beat with Pulse and the 49 lost on June 12, 2016- Souls lost too soon, families and friend groups broken. I would’ve loved to know them and together dance the night away… #pulse #orlandostrong (at Pulse Victims Memorial)

We mourn. We remember.  We stand with the LGBTQ community against hate and violence.
