i really don’t know how to start this post and i feel uncomfortable af but i’m desperate so i guess i’ll just do it: my laptop broke to the point where the repair would cost more than buying a new one, and i need money asap to get a new one. not having a working computer puts me in a really shitty position because i’m going back to university in october to get my master’s degree in film & new media (my school doesn’t provide electronic equipment for their students) and i might have to quit my job as an editor at an LGBTQ+ website - that job is the best opportunity i’ve ever got in my 23 years long life, as a queer person being able to help spread acceptance and give voices to those who are silenced in my conservative & homophobic country is such a blessing and i really feel like i was made for this. but i don’t have the money.

you guys have helped me lots of times, the last time i was able to write my thesis about LGBTQ+ representation in american TV (i’ve got the highest mark for it and got my bachelor’s degree thanks to you!). this time i’m asking you for even the smallest donation so my broke gay ass can keep her job so i can pay my rent and go back to uni to get my education. and if you can’t, at least reblog this - there might be someone among your followers who might want to help. here’s my paypal.
