im actually so happy abt toramaru just existing as a character. I would have never expected an actual oshikatsu fangirl in a shounen manga out of all things but it doesnt take away from her at all. Yes mafuyu made fun of her for it but got immediately hit by shin after that. The other characters are just accepting it as a part of her too. Like uzuki rlly just let her live out her oshi dreams while kidnapped and its so great to me lmao. And doing all that while looking cute and wielding a big gun w an axe on top…suzuki really cooked here…
im a big fan of oshikatsu culture in general, its just very cute to me. Cause in the end it is a loveletter to whatever they are stanning.

Okay listen I love kubokai as much as the next guy but I'm sorry Kaidou would NOT be a shy little fellow that kuboyasu needs to constantly protect. He is directly STATED and SHOWN to be courageous (my hero studies crossover episode/chapter, all those times he puts himself in obvious danger despite being weak to protect someone else). He wouldn't need Kuboyasu to say "he asked for no pickles" because he got too shy or some shit he'd stand there, strike his dumb fucking pose as he *JUDGEMENT KNIGHTS OF THUNDERRR* starts saying "Heh....it seems my precious Energy Enhancement Material has been messed with...it must be the work of DARK REUNION...!!!! I'll have to unseal the Black Beat dwelling in my arm if this isn't dealt with soon...HUEHUEHUE..." And Kuboyasu awkwardly translates what this means to the employee. Please just keep in mind that he is delusional and that delusion gives him insane confidence and courage sometimes 🙏
