Hearing someone call out to her, Leaf looked to the tree tops and spotted the young blond male.

Why was he in a tree in the first place? As curious as Leaf was, she decided not to question it until she was able to get him out of it.

"Venasaur! Use Vine Whip to get him out!" Leaf commanded, and The Seed Pokemon complied. Two green vines wrapped around the boys waist and gently lifted him out of the tree and put him down the ground.

Returning the Pokemon after thanking it, she looked at the boy.

"Why were you in the tree anyway? How did you get stuck?"

Having to be lifted out of a tree is pretty embarrassing in itself, but having to be lifted out of a tree by a complete stranger deserves its own category in the List of Embarrassing Things. Regardless, Barry's grateful, and he sends a 'thank you' towards the Venasaur.

However, it takes a while before he actually acknowledges its trainer. After he makes sure that all of his Poké Balls are undamaged (they are- thankfully), and that he doesn't have any bruises (well, there's a scraped elbow, but that can be worked around), he turns. And looks confused.

"What? ...Oh. Oh!" A grin. "What was I doing in the tree? Trying to catch a Pokémon, of course! Well, I was. But it was going preeeetty well up until I got stuck. It's all part of my strategy, see? The best one yet!"
