Meet Dianysma
Iridians are a sentient metal species that come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Dianysma in particular is 44’ tall and happens to be a StarFighter. Stay tuned for more as I work my way around her character sheet, and more!
Dianysma's father, an ancient Iridian general turned politician, raised her as an aeroplane despite her unique abilities. He always worked hard to hide her true self, because StarHearts nearly brought about an end to their species through galactic conquest, going so far as hiring an alter designer to help care for her so that they may keep her aeroplane outfits intact or repair when she exceeded the alter's abilities.
Eventually, when shes older, Dianysma realizes this behavior isn't normal, and gets in a heated argument with her father about why she has to constantly hold herself back. Things turn into a conversation about her heritage, and her mother, who's been out of the picture. Her mother was a powerful battleship during the final war, who her father had reluctantly assigned on the front lines. The war had decimated the Iridian population, stretching their numbers too thin on the galactic stage, and afterward, all starhearted Iridians, those capable of space travel, were either lost, or had their starhearts removed to keep them from going beyond their planet ever again.
Dianysma still had her starheart, her father couldn't bear to have the surgery performed on her, but couldn't risk the public knowing that he had a Starfighter for a daughter. Dianysma ran from home, after that, and proceeded to fly as fast as she possibly could. She destroyed her aeroplane disguise with the sheer speed of her abilities, and finds herself lost, floating through space without a proper alter for a few thousand years, where she attempts to follow her own investigation to find what really happened to her mother.
