âOh my? This is quite an unexpected development. A delightful surprise, if you will. I could never forget a face like that, no no! Itâs been, what, a century? Give or take a few decades.â
âI must say, while time has been kind, unfortunately, nature has been anything but. Youâve somehow managed to find the fountain of youth, yet a splash of water can only go so far. Miraculous, yes, but not even magic can do away with what you were born with.â
  âHow tragic.â
yo fuck off ya nasty
This beautifully stitched skin as white as wax, just like when they were alive. Their mouths that cannot clamour noisily or tell lies any longer. Arenât they all far more beautiful than when they were alive?

Your hands are too small, Earl
/Â Undertaker /
Death isnât cruelâmerely terribly, terribly good at his job.
-Sourcery, Disc World (via tabularasawords)
Death Unreaped.
He hadnât thought much about entering this shop in particular. He happened to be walking aimlessly, taking a glance or two toward the different shops that littered both sides of the streets. He entered on whim and partially because of his companionâs begging, thus led for him to enter the establishment. Upon entering, the teenâs gaze raises seeing a man high above near the chandelier.
He then waves toward him, while his feathery companion, Stolas makes a whispered quip into his ear. Once he closes the door, the teen moves closer to where the man is presently, nodding slowly toward his offering.
âThank you very much.â
He takes the biscuit, pondering if whether or not he was hungry. Before he could do a thing, Stolas snatches it into his beak and taking ahold of it. Asutsuo glances toward him with a frown, and his attention soon returns toward the Undertaker once more.
âMy business? Well I happened to pop in because of my companionâs pestering. I hadnât gotten to actually to read the sign out front because of him.â
He earns a slide eyed glare from the owl perched on his shoulder, which he ignores.
âMay I ask what kind of business you run, sir?â
Stepping off the ladder, fingers curled on top of each other, the Undertaker expressing a sort of interest in this young man. Certainly, the owl felt off, it wasât too difficult to tell that it was of a supernatural being, especially with its presence. Then stood the boy, who, while accompanied with the owl, already had a sense of individuality from it and regular humans. Perhaps the Undertaker would be graced with a laugh or two, or at least his curiosity piqued. Glad to see that someone had some sort of manners when offered up a treat and taking it, the grim reaper began to speak.
âOh, thatâs not going to tell you much, I suppose. Itâs out there for the localss... the need for a name is appropriate, right?â Walking to his seat, he flung himself upon it, bottom aggressively hitting the chairâs pillow. Giving a small laugh, he leaned his chin on both his wrists, elbows upon the table, âIâm just a humble Undertaker. Of course, my other business is privy.. Iâd say. But without regulars, income has been sparse,â Seeing as Hive City citizens didnât wish to risk their pride being torn, the Undertaker was dried up from any laughter he had gotten recently. He was a tad desperate, indeed.
âAre you interested in my other business, child?â
Constant Hunger.
The mental capacity of humans were intolerable. And thus, the Undertaker posed an idea with himself, for he has too many specimens in this dear city the scientists had created, that perhaps he should further his range to the mental capacity of these things, or beings, that werenât specifically human. If his research proved something, it would be either that the lab ratâs ego gets the better of them, or theyâre truly as fearful when it came to uncomfortable situations.
Hands dug into the giant cut heâd done to his victimâs stomach, the Undertaker feeling the vibrations of her organs as he did so. Carefully, he dragged his nails down the entrails, scraping the layer of skin from the inside in case something was overlooked. A thorough examination, with the mortician being sure that nothing else was different about her body when it came to how she attains her powers. However, process was stopped, and the grim reaper glanced over the opening eyes of his little drugged rat. Grinning, he began to speak.
âAfternoon, witch,â Seeming awfully cheerful, he slowly took his hand out of her stomach, carrying along an intestine with him. Lifting it to her eyesight, he was eager to start anything thatâll cause her trauma, and unfortunately for her, his specialty was the human body, and he didnât mind a woman such as herself being in his grasp. Especially if dead. âIâm ready to go further in on this, if you willlll,â Jolting his hand up and down for a brief moment as if tempting or even rushing her, he continued to talk again, âCome on, just as a mother who feeds her infant, itâs simple! Hehehee.â

Exquisite Horror Of Reality.
This was the kind of experiment that was to his expertise. With the numerous amount of people inside Hive City, there were even more of these humans that didnât exactly fit under those that were dragged into the city by a mere whim of the scientists. Given his Cinematic Records back, he had yet to really use it, in a way, and wondered if it would work different on these people. Multiple were used to test the effects. Senior citizens, adults, children, infants-- All results were the same. However, infants were quite interesting. Without a true life to look forward to because of its comprehension, it couldnât become anything like his last masterpiece in London.Â
It was a mindless monster, in a sense. Completely free of wants and needs, but the Undertaker had to make sure of it himself. While it definitely didnât fit the requirements of a success, it continued to make him curious. Taking the child into a shady part of sector 3, if anyone were to look at the baby, it would be evident that it was once a corpse-- but prettied up, as if it were about to have a funeral. The Undertaker enjoyed making his creations beautiful, despite their ugly intentions. For now, that is. And when spotting the first person he saw, he chuckled.
âItâs a good afternoon, donât you thiiink? I was only taking lilâ Hamilton on a walk when I got a tad lost. Hehe. Tâwas a mistake, I knew! Dâyou have any directions for me?â Was called out towards the young lad, the Undertaker taking his time walking over to him. If given enough close contact, the child would be able to touch him. And in that moment, the Undertaker would know if even infants desired souls when they lacked one.
Nevermore.
The guise of a real therapist had gotten the Undertaker this far in the hospital. His new little rat was a pleasing abduction due to the fact that he seemed to not have fought back, which made it even easier for the grim reaper to have his way with him. Finding a room much like those that are in asylums, the strait jacket was placed upon the victim, and he was immediately led to that room. Locking the door, the Undertaker made his way to a higher level, in which heâd be able to watch the reactions his dear experiment made and speak to him. The technology of the hospital was unfamiliar to the Undertaker, but he would adjust to it.Â
As simple as it was, it was also quite useful. Pressing the button so that his voice could be heard, the mortician leisurely sat in his seat, hat being tossed aside in order for more comfort. Voice was leveled and lower than his usual creepy and obsessed tone, the Undertaker taking a more normal stride for this current victim of his. âJulian,â Was said in such a way that it seemed like a casual greeting between acquaintances. "How are you today?â
âIâm quite sure you have questions! Allow me to explain. Dear Julian, youâre not in trouble, shall I calm your nerves? Hehe. Somebody was concerned for you and reported you here. They want to make sure youâre fineeee.â He wasnât going to completely destroy his personality, and instances of it was mixed into his speech. Though, it wasnât suspicious enough for trust to be completely broken. Until he asked more detailed questions, that was.
Ghastly Grim.
Subject after subject. With the laziness heâd succumbed to in his old life while living in London, this was certainly change. Though, it wasnât a change that the Undertaker could find distaste in, especially with the information he would gather through it. Without much to experiment on due to the dead not staying in their corpse like state, he learned much more about the human brain and the comprehensions of it, instead. Even then, his research extended far past the human mind, for Hive City was crawling with different sorts of creatures that he wished to know more about.
And the one before him, chained up to his usual âbedâ, was another like any other he had pricked at multiple times. His objective for this man was the curiosity focusing on his horns-- a strange attribute, one that the Undertaker only heard of in fairy tales. The mortician noticed a few minutes later upon the awakening on his new victim, and a turn of his chair allowed him the procedure of lifting himself up from it and to his specimen. Locking his fingers together and leaning his chin atop of them, it was a pleasing gesture, indeed, with the Undertaker getting extremely close to the lab ratâs face-- but more specifically, his horns. âYou werenât supposed to wake up yet. Oooh well ~,â
Giving a grin as if it were an everyday mess up that would be looked upon once more with a good laugh, he kept his position, unwavering from the close space. âWould you like to answer some questions, my good lad? Or shall I take a peek instead?â Despite the scenario, the Undertaker stayed completely calm. Despite the reeking smell of blood, the multiple dead bodies, and the Grim Reaperâs lack of sleep, he was awfully enthusiastic to know. Perhaps his sloth like behavior being tossed aside for constant knowledge was warping his experiments a bit these days. To be this excited when it wasnât for a joke would be ludicrous if not for the conditions.

fallen.
Exploring this particular area was nothing short of required, rather a habit she has come to learn due to the various instances of her underground life. Having stumbled upon the vicinity which her newfound allyâs own took refuge was not something she had expected, yet she did not move to turn from the seemingly cluttered scene with haste. Instead, glass heels cease their clinking whilst she gazes about, taking in any groove and possible doorway there was to locate.
Only after her initial scan does she finally respond.
â Not exactly, â she replies betwixt the pauses of his speech. Amber hues continue exploring the room with little intrigue, displayed easily enough upon the contours of her visage. â When it becomes necessary that I step in, nothing remains. Perhaps if you were to create urnsâ? â
Limbs, previously folded, soon fall leisurely to her side whilst she glances toward the silvern-haired entity. Raven coloured tresses shift at the tilt of her head as she speaks further. â Is there any use for these? My⌠âinformantâ tells me nothing is exactly permanent here, â the question earnest, elfin fingers soon trailing along an emptied coffin as she continues to ignore his complimentary treats.
A curious one she was. Not that the Undertaker minded, for he didnât see a problem in questions. After all, what resulted in someoneâs interest ended in his own laughter. And seeing as that was the best medicine for his boredom in the world, he couldnât become bothered by her presence in the least. âNoope. Thatâs why, most of these are alive,â Responding to her second inquiry first, he frowned at the refusal of his treats, the Undertaker placing them to the end of the coffin he sat upon.
âUrns? Hehe.. Thereâs no use in something like that. Not helpful for me or you,â Not a completely direct conversation, though she was somebody who didnât exactly seem that way herself. Puffing out his cheeks for a brief moment, he crossed his legs. It was best for him to stay put, when she could examine the secret and disturbing things inside of the room herself.
The mortician perks up at the idea of having her entertain him with laughter, and immediately brings himself to reply in a fashion of suggestion, voice heaving as if he had done a mile run. âThereâs some use. What say you? A discovery of a lifetime may happen here! Of course, that information comes with a nice one.. a laugh. Hehehe..â

All living beings instinctively try to fill up whatever they lack. If your body gets wounded, it will close up. If the spirit feels lonely, one will seek others in order to fill this emptiness.
