Although the bulk of the video was done in After Effects, there are pieces of this video that was made with processing. Smaller parts such as the particles, a lot of the wavey parts and such. I though that it was so cool when iI first saw it, but now that I recognize the processing aspects of this pieces, i find it to be even cooler

I have no clue how they did this, but they projection mapped the tattoos and did a live, no post production, through the madmapper application. It’s pretty awesome. I thought that this was a really cool integration between illustrative art and the world of coding and processing. Also because that projector is really good and I want one.

Although not the most complicated code or game out there, I found this to be extremely interesting because it is a simple and easy to understand thing. The guy coded an interactive, augmented reality with a rock climbing experience that allows not only a sense of achievement but fun and a new added feeling that comes with this sport.

Thought that this was supercool because I just did something similar in my own code. Granted it wasn’t moving and as cool as this one, it was interesting to find out that other people are learning Processing the same way that I’m learning. This patter was super difficult for my eyes to adjust to and it definitely welcomed the straight grey bars.

I thought that this processing project was extremely cool. Coming from an illustration background with no ability to draw anything in a geometric non figurative manner, this was such a time waster and learning experience for me. I tried so hard to actually draw George Washington I eventually gave up and just had fun

Pattern Making - Vis Ix Des 1

This is an example of physical objects meeting the digital world. The idea that each little music box contains a world of its own, only to be revealed by both cranking the lever and having it interact with the iPad is both adorable and fascinating. This project reveals a bridge between the physical and the digital, finding an alternative way to interact with the mysterious sounds we interpret as music.

I think Knocking is a super creative way to reach forth the uncanny. Powered by an arduino, this door knocks back at you. It reads the way you knock and repeats it. Not only does this mechanism allow for you to think of the way you knock, but it brings a sense of curiosity -- will this door always knock back the same way?

I think Lineball is super interesting because it not only reads the different instruments of the music file, but also the way the sounds resonate and coexist. This provides a visual representation for sound, including, the human voice
