Dragonology by Dugald Steer is a book series near and dear to many people’s hearts - the above stamps are based on Wayne Anderson’s illustrations, and other illustrations in the series are by Helen Ward, Nghiem Ta and Douglas Carrell.

Wayne Anderson has also illustrated another 'dragons are real' style book called A Flight of Dragons by Peter Dickinson, which takes a more speculative biology angle; I think it's really neat that when the team at Templar Publishing were putting together Dragonology they said "oh we gotta get Wayne Anderson in on this, he's the books-about-dragons illustrator!" (he has also illustrated a number of dragony picture books for children).
