Virtual Pet Fan

Hi everyone,

my name is Janine and I love virtual pet games for my smartphone. There are so many different pet apps out there and I want to do an overview of the best ones. I loved Tamagotchi since the 90's and the smartphone is the best thing that could have happened to a Tamagotchi fan like me.

Everybody out there knows the most famous Tamagotchi App "Pou", so I wanted to look a little bit deeper and so I looked into the other Tamagotchi Apps. 

I checked out My Boo, Virtual Pet Game and My Little Virtual Pet.

My Boo, Virtual Pet and Pou are really similiar and perhaps one is the copy of the other but I can definitely say that "My Little Virtual Pet" is different to the standard virtual pet apps.

In comparison to the other three apps your little pet really changes its look during the days you take care of it. (Evolution) You also have different pets to choose (birds, cat, dog, alien, horse ...) The mini games are really cool and you can have a little farm and bake items in your bakery.

Firstly it is hard to get the so called Birdlars but it gets better after you have the first chicken! :-)

I also checked the support of the virtual pet apps mentioned above. It is really hard to compare the apps because of the different user base but this round also goes to "My Little Virtual Pet". They inserted stuff the users suggested and they really answer every question I got. Perhaps this is one of the reasons I really love this game :-) You really feel like you are part of the development and there's nothing better when users can influence the development!!!

Haha I thought I'll write much more but it isn't as easy as I thought before. I'll come back to this later. I'll do more articles about virtual pet games!
