☆ love you to the moon and saturn ☆

Tea is often discredited as a valid source of hydration, due to the caffeine content found in black, oolong, green, white, and even yellow tea. However, one must realise just how much water goes into these soppy, sexy wet leaves. in fact, the ratio of water to caffeine is so drastic it almost doesn't even matter that there is any amount of caffeine in tea, it's pretty likely that it wont affect the hydrating effects of the delicious brew you're sipping on.

This can be beat by sweetened tea, though. While there is nothing intrinsically wrong with sugar, an overabundance can lead to slow gastric absorption (this just means your stomach takes longer to process food) (obviously an oversimplification) and this can lead to harming your hydration goals over time.

Luckily, herbal tea, such as peppermint, chamomile, lemon, ginger, etc. are all naturally caffeine free! So even if it's still a worry of yours, there is an entire other section of tea you can explore without worry of caffeine.

Now, you may be bummed if you have a real sweet tooth, but don't want to become dehydrated after adding extra sugar to your tea- I would be too! I love sweets! But look no further, because I have an incredible invention for you (it's one of my favourite kinds of tea!)

Dessert tea is a branch of tea blends all meant to replicate various sweets. This can range from chocolates, to baked goods, or more generally, flavours such as strawberry, vanilla, and caramel. My personal favourite is Vanilla Macaron! Unfortunately, I cant find it in stores anymore.. just my luck...

But what I really enjoyed about this tea is that it was naturally sweet without added sugar- I found it to be pretty amazing how somebody could craft such a complex flavour so accurately in the medium of plants. It's truly remarkable! A real representation of the human desire to create art out of anything.
