It’s finally finished, “The Weight of Piltover,” a (loose) pastiche of Frida Kahlo’s “The Broken Column.”

It's really weird seeing just...so much concentrated art of a transmac body. So many different artists' renditions of our scars, the way we mold our flesh around our skeleton, the bindings or brave lack thereof. I don't look like Viktor. Viktor is sharp, angular, the picture of dying beautifully. It's unfortunate that illness tends to be more morally acceptable on thinner bodies.

But it's the chest scars that always trip me up. Cause they represent so much. They're beautiful but also leave us so vulnerable. And there's so many different ways our scars can look as a collective, but my scars can only look like my scars...
