FOUNDATION SUGAR COOKIES
Foundation Sugar Cookies Recipe from the kitchen of Ethel Christensen
βThis is the best recipe she ever found for this type of cookie.β
Ingredients:
1 c shortening 2 c sugar 6 tbsp milk 2 tsp vanilla 3 eggs, beaten 5 1/2 c cake flour 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with liquid ingredients.
Chill dough.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick on floured board. Cut cookies.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Makes 168 2-inch cookies.
