welcome everyone as i try to develop this character that is completely 100% brand new never ever played before

so ginny’s dad is super into comics ( more marvel than dc but he wouldn’t turn his nose up to superman )

when her mother was pregnant with ginny, her father insisted on naming her after pepper potts ( whose real name is virginia )

her mother was like ‘we already named both of our sons after your fuckin comic books why can’t i have this one’ but she did like virginia -- tho she wanted to call her ‘ginny’ not ‘pepper’ bc how the fuck do u get pepper from virginia

when ginny was very young ( so young that she doesn’t even remember ) her mother got sick and passed away

her father, in memory of his beloved wife, decided to stick with the nickname ‘ginny’ ( but like how big of a dick would he be if he’d started calling her pepper anyway )

so growing up, her father and brothers taught her everything they knew about comics and she loved them ( xmen is her fave by far )

as she got older, she felt weird not having any sort of connection to her mother, so she watched a bunch of youtube videos and learned how to sew ( since her mother had made her living as a seamstress before her death )

she had a real knack for it and caught on quickly, and eventually began making her own clothes -- or rather, her own cosplay costumes

she’s sought out every year at comic con because of how epic her costumes are

she ended up going to calarts to study design and production ( with a concentration in costume design )

after she graduated she got an internship with zenith, which was a lot of sorting buttons and picking pins up off the floor

once superhuman got greenlit she took a job as a seamstress ( so basically she’s one of the ones who sews all the costumes together and does the fittings with the actors and such )

she’s very disappointed that she hasn’t gotten to make any superhero costumes yet ( since that was the whole reason she was excited to join the production ) but she still gets her fix with her cosplay costumes

( she’s working on a diamond skin emma frost costume that she’s v excited about )
