This girl that i used to date. We broke up but I started to write a song about it. 

I can't say I blame you -- it's been over a year and I still do paintings about my ex. 

Nope. It’s probably why i’m failing math right now. 

You know, I could probably help tutor you. I wasn't the best at math, but I got a pretty decent grade in it. 

It’s something I’ve been working on. It’s called 1 2 3.

I think it’s fun. I don’t drink as much anymore though. 

Well, most people think it's fun. Isn't that why they do it? [Smiles] Well, I'm proud of you Christian, darling. I'm pretty sure that it kills brain cells.

That works beautifully for me, in fact. Now, who am I graciously thanking? I haven't even caught your name. [Holds out hand.] Virginia Connors.

You sound like a riot. [He joked.] Typical teenage boy stuff, parties, drinking, smoking.

Are you sure that's typical teenage boy stuff? I think that's just boy stuff, at this point -- none of you seem to grow out of it. [She laughed.] I've never smoked, or drank, before... Is it fun? [Laughing again.] Now that I think of it, I've never been to a party, either.

I know [He laughed] That’s why I like you, you’re sarcastic. What else do you do for fun?

Well, besides crushing the souls of children, I enjoy painting and basking in the glow of my own ego. And what about yourself?

I've never written 'F' on so many papers..

Looks up at the girl. “This is a public park. You can’t claim spots.”

Now, darling, it's quite too early in our friendship to be professing such emotions. It's charming, truly; however, I in no way reciprocate such feelings.
