Got rejected by Exeter today. Knew it was coming, given what I'd read on the student room last week. As soon as I got an email from track today I knew it was Exeter. To be honest I'm not too upset this time because I knew it was coming

Being the complete idiot that I am, I just got on the wrong train home! I assumed that since the 5.03 train stopped at Burton, the 4.03 would as well It doesn't. The first stop is Derby. So I've got to go all the way to Derby and then get a different train to Burton because I was stupid and didn't check where the train was going Such an idiot

Went on the lush website to try and find a secret Santa present for Alys, and there are SO many things that I want! Think I might be spending a lot of money there tomorrow...

I really shouldn't look at medicine applicants on the student room, it always seems to make me panic. Just looked at the Exeter thread and one person's saying they aren't giving out any more interviews, another says that there's a few more days left, someone else is saying something completely different, and I don't know what to believe It's making me stressed not hearing anything, I don't dare look anything online because that makes me stressed too I hate this process

One of the good things about living with my dad is that we're both quite boring We're sitting here on a Friday night with the telly off and playing quizzes on sporcle. Because we both have equally shit social lives

I'm going shopping with lulu tomorrow on my day off (the only one I get this week it transpires) but I really don't want to spend all of my money seeming as in three weeks I'm going to Dublin. I want to get most of my Christmas presents there rather than Burton. And in Bath when I go to see Lyd... Whenever that may be. I might just go down, because I really do want to see the Christmas market there - it's meant to be really good! - and then text her saying 'hey I'm in Bath, are you free?' And that way she won't feel obliged to ask me to stop over but she'll still hopefully have time to see me for a few hours!
