i’m too messy. maybe in the way that you can never see my bedroom floor or maybe in the way that i can’t hold onto a thought. i never listen. i try, but i can’t process anything and i zone out of conversations even though the wall isn’t really that interesting. my head is always somewhere else. half attached to my body and half in outer space somewhere. i haven’t read a book in months because i’m easily bored nowadays. i don’t know who i am. i was a kid once, covered in pinks and blues, inks spreading from the page to my skin. i’m just too messy. too hazardous. too imaginative but never in a good way. i’m just too messy, and no matter how hard i try, i can’t seem to clear myself up.
