Hey everyone! This is my list of resources I have made over the course of the existence of this blog, pertaining specifically to death witchcraft and spirit work. (EDIT: I also added divination because it is such a vital part of my own practice) I hope it helps some of you, and provides a resource for you to use! I’ve also thrown in my death work stuff as well. These posts are all mine, coming from separate blogs at times ( @shipping-the-gods , @the-daily-diviner, and @tarnished-headstone (@witchthatiam is the name of this blog from a while ago)); none of these blogs are active. "Grief is as overwhelming as it is because it defies our attempts to define it. It is as shapeless as the darkest most abyssal waters of the ocean. It only is ever the shapes we give it. Like blood or snakes which writhe through your veins and arteries: omnipresent and invisible until all without warning it isn't.

It is Jormungandr twisted into a Gordian knot of an emotion so heavy that it ceases being an emotion and becomes a black hole where all emotions disappear into. Happiness becomes not the feeling of joy, but the absence of feeling misery, or worse, nothing at all.

Gordian knots and snakes. Each metaphor meets its end and finds its solution in the same way: You take the sword, the one which has pierced where your heart once was beating, and you hold it in your hopeless hands, and you slice through the empty air where a snake's head or an impossible philosophy-knot once was. You make your grief defined not by its defiance of definition, but instead by your own defiance of being defined by grief. Recovery is the white-hot iron that cauterizes nothing so that something can exist again, even if that something is painful.

And what happens to all those dead cells? Matter is never created or destroyed Where do they go when I am not them? Ghosts in the blood. Echoes of myself No longer relevant in today's world
