I clench my fist and stand by those who would fight oppression, nationalism, homo and transphobia . Those of us who believe we are just down and not out must unite and stand as one . The next 4 years are going to hurt, but remember, 2 years from now we have midterm elections. We must vote in EVERY election. We must stay strong. We must stay vigilant. What made getting out of bed today so hard!

So I got bored and once more returned to black.

For those of you who know me, know I connect far more often with fictional characters rather than real people. So much so I sometimes get tattoos of said characters to always keep them close to me. Like this amazing Princess Leia tea party tattoo done by the amazing @nicenfroosh. Sometimes when an actor or a musician dies, for me it is like hearing that a close family member has died and your not allowed at the funeral. Carrie Fisher's death feels like I lost my big sister. She was the first strong female character I had been exposed to in science fiction (the second of course being Ripley). Even when being rescued she still could save herself. I wish this didn't effect me like this...

Did all the family stuff the last few days. I'm now home all by myself enjoying a glass of wine, rocking my new Chewbacca slipper socks and watching the truest of Christmas movies. #happyholidaystome
