i was built for bigger than all of this my day-to-day is gawky figures and hearts like ash a gnawing “tomorrow” whose ambitions burn forest fires two cups of coffee and dollar store oil pastels consuming friendships and paper airplanes who do not fly who scream “you are not good enough” it is like i told my therapist two years ago i am convinced i am a colossal force designed like the moon, never to be harvested in this lifetime of sage incense and cement souls the day-to-day believes they are meant for a “something more” i was built for everything else
