what the fuck was going on in here on this day? not long ago he had sent his daughter to genosha – believing it would be safest there for her. she didn’t have any powers, and he no longer trusted her foster family to take proper care of her, and with him deadset on revenge, he didn’t quite trust himself either. maybe genosha sounded too good to be true. maybe wade didn’t care anymore. ellie just needed to be kept safe, and it sounded like the best place for her right now. he’s – mostly – minding his own business when he stops dead in his tracks, when a… a motherfucking robot drops down in front of him? what the hell? “jeez, what the fuck are you? some sort of weird iron man knock off? missin’ the chest piece, buddy. you gonna blast me with some hand cannon? that’s cute.” he takes a defensive stance, pulling one katana out if its sheath while the other hand grips a pistol. “come and get it, robocop.”
“DO NOT RESIST TERMINATION.”
The robotic voiced boomed over Wade, attracting the attention of onlookers in the distance. A lot of people ready to stop and stare, very few ready to help. The funny thing about Sentinels – they didn’t care. All of the sarcasm and quick wit in the world didn’t gain an inch over a robot. Likely for the best, considering past experiences civilization had with robots garnering emotion. As Wade’s mouth moved, the Sentinel was already scanning him for weaknesses. It stepped forward, causing the ground under their feet to shake as it sent another blast from it’s hand to Wade, the opposite hand reaching down to pick him up.
