Explaining to Jack how the parliamentary system works and that the colours associated with the major political parties in Canada are inverse of the ones in the US.

Jack learning that Canada does in fact have a King and Queen because Canada is a constitutional monarchy.

Making Jack try poutine for the first time.

You using Celsius when describing the temperature not Fahrenheit.

You craving a McCain’s Deep & Delicious Cake and Tim Horton’s coffee.

When Jack makes pancakes for breakfast you will only use real Canadian Maple syrup.

While Jack observes Memorial Day, you celebrate May 2-4 (read: “two-four”) long weekend.

Jack being grossed out when you eat ketchup flavoured chips.

Jack being turned on when he finds out you are bilingual in French.

Jack being confused when you first break out this phrase: “Yeah no yeah for sure”.

Jack also being confused with your ‘Canadian Goodbye’

(For those who don’t know what a Canadian Goodbye is: it’s where you slap your knees saying that “well I better get on the go” and then you keep talking with the other person for another 5-10 minutes before standing up and saying “I should probably get going”. And then you keep talking as you walk out the door until you make it to your car. )
