Can we talk about the irony when it comes to contradictory queer labels because people always always say "erm trans men can't be lesbians" "cismen can't be lesbians!" "Lesbian is WOMEN LOVING WOMEN/NON MAN LOVING NON MAN!"

Yet those same people do not bat a single fucking eyeball at cis women or anyone who doesn't identify as a man calling themselves gay when gay is non woman loving non woman or man loving man

Also the whole ideology that only certain people can use certain labels out right ignores intersex folk or someone like me who has no gender or the nonninary folk and it forces everyone into a box.

Same with TME/TMA from what I can tell.

I fear that it's just as okay to make a canonically trans character a different kind of transgender or cis if you want.

You can't repost a post saying it's okay to headcanon CIS characters as trans because they'll still be CIS in canon and then turn around and do the same thing that the post is talking about.

Theres no difference. There is nothing special about queer characters that the canon rep can magically be taken away because someone else views them as a different kind of trans or cis.

The golden rule is that NO headcanon, and I mean NO HEADCANON EVER can change the canon.

It doesn't matter how popular a headcanon is.

It doesn't matter how problematic the headcanon is.

It doesn't matter who the fictional character is.

It does not fucking matter.

No representation is being taken away and if you believe that you might need to go re-engage with the source media and pay closer attention.

Ever since discovering I don't have to call myself nonbinary I see any post mentioning trans men, trans women, trans mascs, trans fems, or nonbinary people I can't help but think "what about the trans neutrals?" Or "what about me?"

When I search for earthy boy/male names and one of them is Eden a so now I feel less compelled to find a new name since mine is already Edan 😍🫶
