astarion is not used to being observed like this. he is meant to be admired, adored, he is feeling very much analyzed and with that he does not know what to do other than keep up the performance. she does not know astarion deeply, not yet - but she has been watching him closely since their tumble on the beach, and there are flashes of moments where she thinks they may be quite alike. he is so young, though, and it shows, especially in conversations like this.
