            “—Which part?”

      "Can I say all of it?"

                                   ”I’ve a catch in my throat!”

     "Suuuuuure."

                             ”Wh—… what?                                I uh… I’m sure you know how to handle yourself.                                I… I mean, the alienage is safer than the Under                                                                                                    City…”

      "You're stuttering worse than me.                  And that's saying something."

                              “It’s not a problem, but…                                If you wish to stay in the alienage, I have no say.                                I just find it dangerous.                                That’s all.”

      "Are you worried about me staying in the alienage...?"

                              “Mum definitely was….                                           something.”        A chuckle, fingers tracing up his arm with leather to skin to satiate the nerves throbbing through his veins.                               “You have people here, Ava.                                The Dalish are in the mountains.                                 I could always ask the Keeper to consider you.”

      "Oh no, please don't do that." A shock coming from an elf. Denying the Dalish. "I don't think I'd fit very well. I've lived in an alienage all my life..."

                             ”My sister is in the Circle.                                She seems to like it.                               Not much need to pay to take care of her anymore.”                      A pause, exhale through his nostrils.                              ”My mother passed away earlier this year.”

      "Oh." that's all she can manage. "I am so sorry, lethallin. I know you must miss your mother. I know I miss my own."

                                    “It’s no problem.                                      I have no need for much coin anymore.”                       That is, I have no one to take care of, anymore.

      "You don't? May I ask why not?"

       The Champion crosses his arms, fingers playing with the buckle under his pit before resting just below.                              “Your top?                               How much coin would it cost to replace it?                              I’m sure I could spare it.”

"Just a few silvers I'm sure. Maybe less." she smiles a bit more at the offer either way. "Ma serannas, Avian. You do not need to do it if you don't wish to though."

                              “Yes, you did.                                 It really is a pleasure to see you again.                                 I’m not just saying that for… aesthetics.                                 How have you been?”

       "I've been well." she confirms with a nod that makes some of her hair fall in front of her face, to which she fumbles around with to fix. "Although I fell in the mud earlier. Everyone just laughed at me and I ruined my favorite top and I do not have the coin to replace it."

                           ”You weren’t there at our last encounter.                              It’s a pleasure to see you again, Ava.”

She is doing her absolute best not to over excite herself again. "A pleasure. That's the first time I've heard someone say that to me in quite some time." she smiles. "I'm surprised to see you again Cha-- Avian. Did I get that right?"

Casper’s smile grew warmer as the stranger took his hand, happy that she had accepted his help. After pulling her back to a standing position, he released his grasp and allowed his arm to fall to his side. “You’re very welcome, miss." He glanced around the market place, taking in the crowd. "It looks like there are a lot of humans here," he noted, looking back to her. "Would you, uhm.. If you’re going some place, would you like company? You know, so the unkind humans don’t bother you?" He felt awkward about asking the question, but she seemed so frightened of his kind. He rather liked the idea that she may feel at ease.

Once she was back onto her feet she brushed some of the dirt off of her and mumbled about how clumsy she always was and scolded herself to watch where she's going next time. But, then the man offered to walk along with her, so that the other humans did not bother her. The day was full of surprises today it seemed. "That would be most appreciated, ser." she nodded a bit, still looking a bit nervous but still managed a smile. "You are very kind. I'm happy it was you I ran into instead of someone else. Not that I'm happy to run into anyone in the first place. ... Perhaps I should just... be quiet now."

        "Of course…" A humble tone. When had Hawke ever had a humble tone? Even on the day his mother died, he…  He pushes the thought from his head, gliding fingers inside of pockets of his armor to find anything that wasn’t twine or lint. A sigh, until he remembers.          “Would you like my pendant? I’m sure I have another somewhere at home.”

She really just can't hide her excitement. Even has her cheeks begin to ache from how much she is smiling. "Your pendant?" she raises her brows a bit. "Oh, ser. I don't want to take anything you are not willing to give away. Are you sure?"
