i've tried to answer this one before

long story short, measure around your own "muzzle" circumference (around the nose, cheeks and jaw in a circle), height (a line from the jaw to where glasses would sit on your nose), and width (the width from the sides of your cheeks, somewhat close to the ears), and plug that measurement for the circumference here:

find a wire muzzle for that breed of dog (i think you can ignore the number on the left unless you're ordering from that specific site). order it.

when it arrives, get some wrappable padding (i used adhesive bandage tape, the spongey stuff that kinda sticks to itself) and put it around the chin part so it's bearable to wear, like so:

fit the forehead strap so the top terminates around the crown of your skull, slip the width-wise strap behind your ears and tighten it up.

et voila, a hound, masked up properly! :3
