Participating in a misogyny kink in today’s political climate is irresponsible. You can’t claim to be a liberal woman and then say things like your vote should be taken away because you think it’s hot. It’s dangerous. Your misogyny kink overlaps with real world dynamics that are actively being debated and, in some places, intensified. With all the gender power politics right now, the margin for misunderstanding and harm is higher.

If your argument is that it’s consensual and purely fantasy, consider this. There are so many men who will interpret it as endorsing real beliefs rather than engaging in consensual fantasy. I’ve clicked through a few profiles of the blogs that repost our content and add misogynistic tags. I can tell you that most of these men are actual misogynists. People who genuinely hold misogynistic views will use kink spaces as cover.

I don’t care if you’re the one doing it or receiving it. It goes for both.
