His hand grabs onto Apple's hip and slides them to the side as he pulls the glass neck of his 096 bong (provided by Clef) up to his lips with the other hand. Apple moves to rest their face against his neck as they reach over to the bowl, snapping their pale fingers and igniting a small purple flame. He smoothly exhales a puff of blue smoke into the air.

Oh baby, you're plenty funny to me. I can't see why he'd have run off like that, honest.

He leans his head back and lets out a lazy chuckle.

Apple brings their index finger to their lips, blowing out the flame as if it was a candle. They shuffle closer to Brian after he finishes exhaling, wrapping both arms around him.

But don’t acts silly. You knows how scary I can be!

They curl a lock of his hair around their finger, their eyes focusing on the motion of the twirling strands.

He pets the others head. Though he lacks visible eyes, Apple can feel his gaze trace along their features all the same. A small, sly grin teases at the corners of his lips.

He leans down to leave a gentle trail of kisses along their jaw.

I've been reading a lot about serial killers recently. A new hobby I've taken to, you see.

His hand rests on the base of their neck, fingers drumming to a rhythm seemingly only he could hear.

You can never truly know what others are thinking.

He rests the bong down onto the couch next to the two of them, returning his available hand to the others hip.

You can never truly know who they are.

His fingertips trace out unreadable shapes and letters into the soft, pale skin.

Apple tilts their head back, laughing as he kisses their skin. Their fingers slowly pull out from his hair to rest on his shoulder.

Seeing… just how much you can pulls from them. How many layers you cans uncover…unravel.

They glance off to the side for a moment. Their pupils expand slightly as they think.

Then, they snap back to meet his gaze, shrinking down to their typical pin-prick size.

His face visibly warms at the sight of those eyes. Exciting.

You wanna know what my favorite part is?

The witnesses.

Apple is pulled to lay back on the couch as he moves to straddle their hips.

He taps his chin.

Who cares about the inner workings? What's so interesting about a motive? If humanity truly needed a reason to take, then we would have died out centuries ago. Long before my time. Before yours, too.

No, what I've always found interesting is how the world sees killers. First impressions and all that. Striking features. They always act like they can tell, too. The way they talk, a certain glean in their eye... Maybe it's all just confirmation bias, or maybe...
