With a flash of a grin, Harley downed her drink in one go. Her NOSE wrinkled just slightly but as she was no stranger to the BURN of the liquid, she recovered quickly. And with that she giggled at his reaction - this was good. He needed this night to be EASY. So she’d take care of it all, all the way down to what drinks they had. So she was glad to see he enjoyed it. Step one, complete onto step two. Looking down as he seemingly absentmindedly rubbed his thumb over her thigh, the blonde couldn’t help but shiver at the sensation. It was gentle, intimate. Far more than they’ve ever done before of course and yet he did so without hesitation. She smiled and pinched her legs together just slightly, just enough to PIN his fingers between her thighs, making sure to keep his hand there. A green light. A good distraction. She then hummed happily and rested back against him, peering up at him through long lashes. ❝Tell me … if you could do anything tonight - NO RULES … what would you do?❞

❝I dunno … this ain’t really feel like ME no more.❞ Gone were the LOUD clothes and colorful makeup, and in their place? Soft blonde waves, black rimmed glasses and admittedly tall yet still sensible heels. Harley felt NAKED in a way - far too exposed, despite the fact that she was more covered up than usual. It was psychological, she knew but still … it felt wrong. Yet it apparently was an integral part of the mission and so even though she felt like she was wearing a COSTUME version of her old self it was actually necessary. For no one else at Belle Reve had the EXPERIENCE she had in the field of psychiatry and so, paired up with her FAVORITE Colonel to be her handler, they were on their own for some kind of undercover mission that she still had yet to learn all of the details of. ❝Do I look okay?❞

His answer admittedly surprised her. Back when they first had met, if she pulled this little stunt, he would have pushed her off and told her to get a hold of herself. But look at them now, cozy in the back of some club without the threat of death over their head or a mission to hold them together. BOTH were free, at least for the time being and so that meant they were both here because they WANTED to be. He had asked for HER help because he valued her enough to actually make a difference. The idea of it kind of swelled her heart to be honest, and the smile on her face reflected that. Then it shifted to become a little more wicked - a HARLEY STAPLE.  ❝Dangerous huh? That’s where all the FUN is sweetheart.❞ A tick later, and their drinks were dropped off upon the table. Harley lent over and grabbed both shots before handing him over one. The first of MANY. ❝Bottoms up.❞

As soon as his hands SETTLE upon her, Harley takes that as a green light and leans into his chest to REALLY get comfortable. There wasn’t a shy bone in her body when it came to physical affection, so she saw nothing wrong with this. Besides, if nothing else it would DEFINITLY cause him to become distracted and wasn’t that the point of all this? Break him out of his own head? She shifted just slightly in order to really settle in, which in turn caused the ROUGH hand upon her leg to move against her bare skin and she smiled down at it before turning her attention back to his face. She picked a GOOD day to wear it dress it seemed. ❝Very. Are YOU?❞ It was her way of asking him if all of this was okay. For if it wasn’t she COULD always move, but as her eyes searched his face, she hoped he’d say yes.
