Inktober Day #1

Quick scribble in my sketchbook of summervandergilt, modeling Hidden Gem Hollow.

I’ve wanted to take part in Inktober for years now, but only manage to get 1 or 2 drawings done before my chronic illnesses decide to take over (I imagine my uterus yelling “NOT TODAY!” whenever it ruins my plans). But I’m hoping to complete Inktober for the first time ever, as I’ve greatly reduced my workload for the end of this year. I’ll be taking time to focus on my health, as well as developing new artworks and products to launch in 2017.

I’ve been wanting to try new traditional techniques, and I just got my hands on a Huion tablet and I’m teaching myself to draw digitally, so Inktober is really perfect timing for this! Depending on my health and workload over the next 2 weeks I might open up some simple Inktober commissions for cheap! xo
