A couple of years ago I had to commute by subway everyday and although that may sound awful to some, it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. All the different people from so many parts of the world forced to spend a bit of time in the same space was oddly very refreshing… even if the smell wasn’t always on par.

The culmination of an entire year's worth of development on the art style that I named "Vibrant Grunge '' right here in this piece. This was one of those milestone pieces for me because I felt like I finally understood the direction I wanted to take my style for the first time.

I have had a wonderful time on Tumblr since I decided to start posting here and I would like to thank anyone that was gracious enough to like or re-post my early work :)

I have laughed, I have cried and I have meditated plenty to this album. I cherish this art with my body and soul and want to thank Porter for sharing this gift with the world.

Rey has been a good homie for a while now and one of the dopest designers I know. We bonded over our shared love of anime and art so when he hit me up to do a collab piece themed around Evangelion, one of my favorite pieces of media of all time, I had to go in. Follow Rey on IG @reyablo

"Blurry Beach" (2021)

To this day this is still one of my favorite commissions I have ever worked on.

I consider myself a multimedia artist as opposed to strictly just an Illustrator and Graphic design is the second art form I ever learned and became comfortable with.

I haven't thought about this character in a long time. Originally he was meant for a large scale story idea but that got scrapped and so was he, looking back though, I should definitely revive him because I still love his design.

Still blasting this record to this day and I'm sure I will continue to do so for many more to come. When this thing dropped I had to show my appreciation.
