why do we care more about money than maintaining good relationship, keep the good time and caring for other people's feeling? i heard so many stories of how a couple who were so in love initially starts fighting just because one can't manage to find a job or as much money as how he/she has promised. honestly, this is bullshit. you complained to your child abusively of their poor performance at school because you had had to work really hard to pay for their tuition. your child is hurt, you hurted them and that wouldn't support their motivation in order to work harder. next week, your child decided to go to their favorite band's concert and you started bringing up their grades and such just to say that if they can't work hard to achieve high-ranked university, why would you wanna help them pay for those tickets. what i'm trying to say here is, we all have this mindset to save money, get rich, own a business and live life. When in the reality how you're economizing is torturing and you aren't really living with that philosophy. let me tell you the truth, we all are looking forward to tomorrow, next week, next month, my birthday in a couple months, or maybe next year. what you're doing today is for your "imaginary tomorrow" because well maybe, just maybe, you're expecting to see somebody in a month but you die, or maybe they die. you'll never see them again and when was the last time you two met? can't recall. let me make my vision clearer, live life. please, do. if your best friend is asking, hey! do you wanna go to this place with me? if there's no important errands, do not, or never, let your laziness gets all over you. say yes! because you'll never know what could possibly happens next. fuck the materialism, you thought you wasted money but in fact you're actually investing. you're investing some money and a lil bit of time to be with someone. you prioritize them. you earn the good time with them. lastly, just make sure you're truly living "for today" because there's no tomorrow. it's going to be today, today and today repeatedly every single day. there will just be what you did and then it's what you didn't do. it shall be the only regret that remains.
