In a realm where loves sweet whispers reside,
a tale of longing, where hearts collide.
I ponder why I fall so expeditiously, dear.
For it brings me so much pain. I fear.
Within my mind, stories unfold,
of loves embrace, yet untold.
Alas, these dreams, they fade away,
leaving me wounded, with dismay.
I tire of falling, of being used,
my heart a vessel, so easily bruised.
No more shall I succumb to loves cruel game,
for I cannot bear another of heartbreaks flame.
I yearn for solace, a respite from strife,
to shield my heart, and preserve my life.
So let the winds of love pass my by,
for I’d rather never soar, than fall and cry.
No more shall I seek loves tender touch,
I’ll guard my heart and cherish it so much.
Though loves allure may tempt and entice,
I’ll resist it’s call, head my own advice.
For in the realm of love I’ll find my peace,
and bid farewell to heartbreaks cruel disease.
