I hope last night’s episode reassures everyone that was freaking out that Jackson might cheat/start something with an intern that he would NEVER, EVER cheat on his wife. He’s basically obsessed in love with April. She is all that matters to him, period. Her emotional well-being, her physical well-being. April is his number one priority in life and it is so obvious and sweet and it is so beautiful to watch.
I also hope that people that thought it was desperate and/or perverted of me to think/hope that they would reconnect physically in order to move on now realize how important this step was to the healing process for both of them. How amazing was it that April was trying to get in his pants all night because she wanted to FEEL LIKE HERSELF. Being intimate with her man makes her feel like herself. Like a woman and a wife and sexy and wanted and loved. Who wouldn’t want that for her after all she has been through, you know? And JACKSON. You amazingly, perfect man you. He didn’t want to rush her into anything, but you know he needed to FEEL his wife’s love again. That sweet, sensual, passionate connection of love to the woman he adores above all else.
Such a necessary step for them to take and honestly it couldn’t have been done any more perfectly. Once April reassured him (I am your wife! I’m right here. I am your wife. UGH PERFECT MY GOD) he wasn’t about to wait another second. Okay, baby. Let’s GO. (In the car.. in the parking lot.. of the hospital that we work at and own.. in the first row.. no big deal.. I dare someone to say shit.. hahaha.. btw let’s just take a nap right here too, you wore me out girl damn)
