Last year at @festivaldecannes, 82 women marched on the Palais to represent that *only* 82 women have had films in competition at Cannes in 72 years of the festival. Agnes Varda said: “The stairs of our industry must be accessible to all. Let’s climb.” The movement is called @5050by2020 and I’m proud to have collected my pin today to support equality in the film industry!
