Well, one of your stupid decisions was falling in love with me, so I suppose I'll just have to put up with it. [gives him a light kiss] For as long as I can. [gives him another kiss] Right?

[smiles and hugs her, resting his chin on her head] Think I can actually break a bed now?

[laughs into his chest, shaking her head] Well, we could always find out, couldn't we?

[sighs a little and grabs his hand, pulling him to her] Well, you're my idiot. I think I'll keep you around.

And you would have done it anyway. I'm not your mother, Charlie, although I doubt Rebecca will be too happy about this. If you had told me before, I might have had more time to adjust to the idea of you being...a werewolf. But at the end of the day, no matter what, I still love you.

[looks away] Veronica, I didn’t let Xander just bite me out of the blue. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time.

I’ve already been on the battlefield! I was fourteen when I fought for this camp. I broke bones for this place. I bled for this camp! And I was only able to be in the back lines because I wasn’t part of the important cabins. I know war. I’ve been in one before. It’s — this place trains us to be soldiers. I had been here for only a couple months before that war needed me to fight. And I fought. I haven’t since and I’ve felt absolutely helpless. I needed this.

And I need my boyfriend back. I fell in love with care-free, pizza making, sings me to sleep Charlie Newton. Not a werewolf demigod soldier.

It’s better than sitting on my ass only being able to control fucking vines! You’re a daughter of the fucking god of war! What do you know about feeling utterly helpless in a war? You can use any weapon you want! But me? I fucking lost to Nico di Angelo because I had been out of practise for so long. You don’t have that problem. Now I have an advantage.

Oh, don't pretend like you know how I feel about something like this! I know about feeling helpless because I've never been in a war before and that scares the shit out of me! I may be a daughter of the god of war, but I cannot even imagine doing what some of the kids here have. I'm known for sucker punches and light maiming. I've never fought in a war before and I don't know that I even want to. And I do not want to see my werewolf boyfriend on the battle field!
