Zelda island tunes for Animal Crossing
So I finally unlocked the Town Hall today in NH. I figured Iâd try my hand at making a few LoZ island tunes. Most of the ones Iâve seen online are the OOT ocarina songs so I figured Iâd try some ones I havenât really seen before (and some of my personal favs):
Lorule Castle:
Dragon Roost Island (chorus section):
Stone Tower Temple:
Full Steam Ahead (Spirit Tracks overworld):
Mabe Village:
Ballad of The Goddess:
Molgera:
BOTW main theme:
Bloodborne but Hozier is in the Cathedral Ward singing âTake Me To Churchâ and youâre on your way to fight him.

Let them be happy and revel as babes⌠but make sure you have enough hats
I learned how to make transparent gifs using after effects and photoshop, so here are some transparent Isabelle taunts!
Is that a fucking kookaburra
that is a fucking kookaburra in a rain coat with a happy frog on it
kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
wearing the cutest effing coat youâve ever seen
I want one but i feel like i would break it soo fast

me: I will do things when I am less tired
me: *never becomes less tired*
me: oh no
I have never seen anything more accurate in my life
the one problem i have with people my age and younger is that a lot of us do not have hands on hobbies. like i have spoken to so many people my age who go to work, go to school and then fuck around on their phone/computer for hours and then ???????? like no wonder ur depressed and have low confidence in urself. u need to get ur hands on something, feed those dopamine receptors! learn how to play guitar, garden, scrapbook, fucking make model trains. i donât give a shit, MAKE SOMETHING!!
it feels better than drugs when i finish making a thingâand then show it off or gift it.
and then so people my age say to me âwellâi canât draw/paint/knit/etc. like you can. my stuff would be terrible.â yeah, well duhâa part of developing skill is sucking at something and then practicing it over and over and over again until you suck less. uâll have a hard time feeling lonely or bored when you canât stop thinking abt a technique you want to try or something you want to make for someone else. making things has SAVED MY LIFE. it gave me a reason to keep living day after day when i wanted to die.
making things improved my generational relationships (when i worked for the newspaper i would talk to customers abt jamming recipes or cross-stitch, one of my grandmas always gives me pattern books and tell me abt when she knitted things for mom, my other grandma is giving me a wedding quilt that HER grandma gave her 50 years ago because she knows i will appreciate it). it also got me likeminded friends who also make things.
take a ceramics class! pick up water colors, bake cakes! learn to work on cars! make soap. DO SOMETHING THAT DOESNâT INVOLVE STARING AT A SCREEN.
Literally
If you look at the world and say âYes, there are enough homes for people, yes, there is enough food for people, but if we give it away for free they wonât have earned it and the economy will collapse.â Then you have chosen money (a constructed medium of exchange) over living beings who only want to continue living in peace and safety.
And I have no qualms telling you, that is the wrong choice, and you have been brainwashed by this destructive, exploitative system.
Shit, you right Bulbasaur

âIâm the best uncle. Â I think itâs because I have a little more energy in the reserve tank, since Iâm the only one of my siblings without kids. Â Iâd love to have children but just havenât had the chance yet. Â But I do have twelve nieces and nephews, and I try to see them as much as I can. Â This morning I called my sister and offered to take these two for the day. Â I know how much she needs the free time. Â Just a chance to get stuff done. Â Maybe get out of the house for a few hours. Â And no matter how crazy it gets with these two, itâs always stress free for me. Â Itâs just golden. Â I always want them to have someone they can come to thatâs not their mum. Â They have a great relationship with their mum. Â But mum is always mum. Â And you donât want to disappoint her. Â So if you ever have a problem, or you get in a little trouble, and youâre afraid to tell someone, but you still need some guidance, thatâs when you come to Uncle Markus.â (London, England)
my approach to teaching my 3 year old to have a healthy relationship with food
preface: i experienced a lot of food restriction, food moralism and food insecurity as a child, and i believe that these factors led to my development of an eating disorder (orthorexia), which i am still recovering from. i am saying all of these things as a parent who wants to innoculate my child against the food moralism that i suffered.
what i do:
i donât ever force her to eat anything. i will try to persuade her to try something, or to eat more of a thing she knows she likes, but if she still wonât eat the thing, i donât push it. parenting involves a lot of choosing your battles, and itâs more important to me that she feels respected by me than that she has another bite of a carrot at that particular moment.
we donât tell her âeat your veggies firstâ because we donât want to present eating vegetables as a chore. she likes a lot of vegetables already, and thereâs no need to set them apart from other food. we give her a multivitamin to make sure she gets enough vitamins and minerals
weâve never treated candy or chips or any food as a special reward that she has to earn. if she can have it whenever she wants, then it doesnât take on any kind of enticing sense of âthis is forbidden.â and if she wants to eat an amount of candy that might make her sick, we tell her âi donât think itâs a good idea to have any more right now because you might get a tummy ache.â and she trusts our judgment.
we will sometimes make small snack trays that have crackers, cheese, raw vegetables and sliced deli meat, and sheâll munch on them. we teach her that she needs to consume carbohydrates, protein and fat to take care of her body, and if sheâs been eating exclusively carbs, we remind her that she should eat something with protein and fat, like cheese or peanut butter.
if she doesnât like a food, we donât make her eat it. we might ask âdo you want to try it againâ but we respect her âno.â if she doesnât like the dinner we made, weâll let her eat cereal or a sandwich (or something else quick to prepare). because we donât want her to associate dinner time with conflict. sheâs much more willing to try new foods if we donât pressure her or make it a big deal.
we donât describe any foods as good or bad for her, because we donât ever want her to feel guilty for eating. we teach her about the comparative nutritional value of foods without judgment. since weâre not disallowing her from eating any particular foods, she wonât have a drive to eat tons of forbidden â"badââ food when sheâs older and weâre not present.
