Made entirely of bone it must constantly acquire new skin in order to cover its form. They live very long lives and are constantly growing, and as such, constantly needing to... "refresh" itself. The longer it has work a specific body, the more decayed and disgusting those parts become.
Day 2: Swarm: The coastal tetra fly is a mostly peaceful species. The creature pictured is a Queen, tending to be much larger than other members of the species. Her abdomen is large and cavernous, as her drones and children will return to her at night to rest. She is more than their queen, she is herself, the hive.
