palestine is an open-air prison blockaded and cut off from the rest of the world with the bare minimum being done by other countries to recognise it as a country in its own right. its being destroyed by a 'country' that owns nuclear weapons. it's not a war, it's a genocide.

pakistan is one of nine countries that are armed with nuclear weapons going up against another one of nine countries armed with nuclear weapons.

how is that even remotely the same thing?

india is absolutely deep into fascism and its democratic roots are thirsty for any kind of nourishment. real media is being suppressed, and fake ai news is being broadcasted on television. with nonsensical religious nationalism and islamophobia going hand in hand in a bid for a 'hindurashtra', no wonder we are being compared to the genocidal, maniacal, pariah state of israel (not a thing to be proud of). we are not at their level yet, but we are well on our way.

let's not forget india and pakistan 'administrating' kashmir when in reality that valley hasn't known peace in a long, long time due to due these two countries' territorial lust over a people that just want to live, for fuck's sake. hell in a handbasket, truly.

speaking of the conflict itself.

india needs to back the fuck up and figure out how militants got into kashmir in the first place.

and btw, how can you justify using the name 'sindoor' for your 'operation' when your own sanghi attack dogs are going after the widows and the daughters of those killed in pahalgam just because they dared to say this is not a hindu-muslim conflict?

since india has been sitting in parts of kashmir since the partition, since the repealment of article 370, security was supposed to improve. kashmir is still the most heavily militarized zone in the world.

so, what? you'll fight to keep the land but not the people of the land? you use kashmir's name in vain when you don't hesitate to rain down hell on its people.

india is wrong. pakistan is wrong.

It was never in the UNHRC. In every aspect other than the signature, it was never parading under the guise of respecting human rights. It's a fascist, occupying, settler entity, we know this. Why are we still acting surprised when it pulls a move accredited to every fascist, occupying, settler entity in the past? The UN/ICC/ICJ are a joke anyway. As a United States official once said, "It was not made to go after us!"

This is also your reminder that Israel has ALWAYS been on the wrong side of morality. It has been aiding and abetting genocide throughout since its conception, all while committing its own. I will take this post to encourage all those who do not know to read up on the Tamil genocide in Sri Lanka. Nobody stepped in; the world stood by and watched as 250000+ Tamil civilians were slaughtered and hundreds of thousands were put in detention camps and made to forcibly disappear. Israel trained and funded the Sri Lankan forces. The genocide ended in 2009, but SL is still one of the most militarized regions in the world.

Israel is not the good one. Israel is not the victim. Israel was a perpetrator, is a perpetrator, and ALWAYS will be a perpetrator. This is also a reminder that Trump's recent inane comments about 'relocating Palestinians' to Jordan/Egypt go directly against what the people of the land want. 'Relocation' is not the term to be used in such a case. It is FORCED MASS DISPLACEMENT. It is ETHNIC CLEANSING.

This is as much a post about factual links between all the evil in the world as it is a post to express solidarity.

Now, onto reservations. If you were brought up Brahmin, like I was, you will know that our elders use caste-based reservations to claim that Brahmins are being oppressed. This is propoganda, don't fall for it. Brahmins are not being oppressed. The fact that I even have to say this is depressing as fuck. If reservations were abolished tomorrow, what is there to prevent UCs from barring Dalits, Adivasis, and LCs from spaces that they deem only suitable for Savarnas, MORE SO than they already do? Let me put it very simply for you: reservation exists because equality does not. Don't waste your breath advocating for the end of reservation. Advocate for the end of the system that made reservation a necessity in the first place.

If you are a UC reading this, know that in this fight, we stand behind the oppressed against the oppressors, who come from within the communities we grew up in. That is why, in this fight, more so than ever, silence means you will continue to bask in caste privilege. Silence means you will continue to look the other way when our brothers and sisters need us to support their voices and amplify their stories. Silence, when you can speak, means strengthening the oppressor.
