I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic. Personally, here’s what I believe:

Yes, I do believe in monogamy. To me, it’s a beautiful way of living—sharing your life and growing alongside one person. As human beings, we naturally long for connection, and monogamy can give us that sense of stability and intimacy.

What I don’t believe in, however, is the idea of “love forever.” I think relationships have an expiration date; they evolve, change, and sometimes come to an end—and that’s okay.

Why am I bringing up monogamy? Because lately I’ve seen so many conversations about open relationships or the idea that humans are “naturally” polygamous. In my view, that’s often just a way to justify infidelity. You can live a monogamous life—being with one partner at a time—but if you’re with someone and still seek sex outside the relationship, you’re simply being unfaithful.
