I got a request to add subtitles to this little bonus clip with Kiyoi and Hira.

It’s based on the side story “Moon Age: 14” at the end of the novel, but it’s really just a cute little clip of Hira and the ever so gorgeous Kiyoi.

The original clip has Japanese captions in black boxes, so sorry if it looks a little rough but I placed the English on top of it as best I could.

One more thing. I put change into a lab flask. You always asked me to get you a ginger ale in high school. All this time, I kept all the change you gave me, and put them in a nice lab flask at home.

For the 8 years that I have been drawing this series what I want to convey hasn't changed. A feeling of "wanting to live freely”. Look at what you want, eat what you wish, then sleep without any burdens, that is the kind of life I want to fulfill. If I draw out my characters living this simple way of life, maybe the reader too can feel a moment of happiness through this particular work. Then I think this is a good thing that I have done.

I've liked for a lot longer than you think I have. I want to do something for you, for once. You gave me that. Mio, you know that's not what I mean. I've always liked girls, you know. But even then, I went and fell in love with you, Shun. It's okay. Liking boys isn't weird at all.
