had you told sah in the past a woman would put ALLL of her trust into him, it would've left him wondering whether or not love was in the cards for his future. they were gen z; meaning there was a series of sex, hookups, flings, situationships ⸻ things that were deemed more valuable than being committed in the long-term. and hell, he lucked up with a model out of all the girls he'd come across being in ferndale. he had to believe it would work out before walking away. “ then, we gon' make it work. amanda  peeped  that  she  was  hopeful..  but  she  believed  in  trusting  people  until  they  gave  you  a  reason  not  to  anymore..  and  sahir  hadn't  done  anything  that  she  deemed  as  a  red  flag.  he  was  perfect,  and  he  actually  liked  her…  that  was  all  she  truly  wanted.  of  course  she  had  a  type,  but  it  was  about  way  more  than  outer  appearances.  ❝   a  roster?  what  kinda  girl  do  you  take  me  as,  sahir?   ❞  she  unlocked  her  phone  and  gave  it  to  him,  shrugging  her  shoulders.  she  didn't  really  think  he'd  go  through  it  or  anything,  but  she  wanted  to  show  him  that  she  really  wasn't  playing.  she  wanted  something  real,  and  he  was  her  chance  at  that.
