ALSO does anyone else think it’s just crazy that after removing a federal regulation requiring regular inspection for cyclospora (among other things) in food processing and now we have a cyclospora outbreak that’s sickened thousands of ppl over the course of 6 weeks and will likely sicken thousands more for at least 6 more, (and can be deadly!) OH and we have no idea where it’s come from or what produceis infected…:: 🙃🙃🙃 and there are still people who will defend our president. ugh

a couple of the supreme court justices are testifying in front of congress today to ask for more security funding amid a rise of death threats. tbh i hope they don’t get more $$$ (tho i know they prob will). i just think maybe they should stop being pure unadulterated evil if they don’t want to fear for their lives when they leave the house. we absolutely need more luigis

this patron came to the desk looking for a book club she thought was scheduled today so i looked at my schedule and didn’t see any so i asked her if it was one of our programs and she said no, so i asked her if it was something she and her friends book on their own. she said no, one of our staff leads the book club. so i said oh okay, so it is one of our programs, and she got kinda stressed out and said “well i don’t know what that means!” but either way i think she had the wrong info because there’s no book club. there’s one at our other location this evening and one at our location tomorrow evening but she said it wasn’t any of those so hopefully she gets where she needs to be 🤷‍♀️

me and coworker talked to manager it went okay she said she’d look into it

sickened by the ice shootings two in one week and both were parents of young children 😔😔 my heart just rly hurts for those families whose dads were taken from them in senseless acts of violence.

and still no hearing date 2 weeks after submitting my request howwww long is this supposed to take

wife made corn poblano chowder which i love and it was good but it was so different than it usually is when we make it it was a diff texture and taste and it was spicy and it just wasn’t what i was expecting at all and i reacted to that and now i feel bad :( i mean it was good and i still ate it it just wasn’t my corn chowder

no one did the cash count in the morning rip. i did it in the evening tho so at least i did my part

i don’t mean that in a mean way he’s very nice i think he just needs social interaction but i just mean it in an im getting overstimulated way

there’s this regular patron we have and he’s like trapped some other random patron in a conversation for a loooooooong time and he will not stop talking and i’m getting real tired of hearing his voice i wish this woman would leave so he’d stop talking lol

saw someone online talk about starting up a “reading diary” where they discuss and explore concepts that interest them that they come across when reading. i thought that was so cool so im going to start doing this!! going to start off in my pink notebook that i was using for my linguistics class. then if i keep up with it and finish my pink notebook i might get a fun new one to dedicate to my reading diary
