reading this history of journalism makes me feel kind of nostalgic for a time when journalism had real teeth and could break barriers and make real change. i’m not saying it doesn’t anymore but i do feel we’ve def declined from a peak era of journalism’s power over the last few decades

don’t think i’ll be up late i’m tired but im gonna try to read

watching cabin in the woods

obsessively checking the state hearings portal online to see when they’re going to give me a hearing date for terminating my medicaid :( no updates yet but i read in the FAQ that apparently as long as i request the hearing within 15 days of getting the notice then i should be able to keep my benefits while the situation gets resolved so hopefully i should still be able to access them even if this process takes more than 3 weeks

just want to avoid life forever !

there’s all these bugs that make these noises at night that they don’t do in the day…. i should try being outside at night more but maybe not on a work night next time

watching a livestream of brown bears in katmai national park in alaska just chilling in the river and catching salmon

i shouldn’t be up so late but really have no desire to go to bed or even do anything else i just want to melt forever

staying up late even tho i work in the morning

when you’re tired of being on your period and it’s almost over anyway so you just free bleed for the last 24 hours lol

why am i so starving today

all showered and also i did the dishes before i got in the shower

going to oil my hair so i have to shower soon lol ugh getting started is so hard today
