so i don’t think im really looking to start discourse about this at all but i just wanna share my opinion bc this is my blog and i like to do that lol. anyway lately ive seen a lot of discourse about who gets to claim what LGBT labels and why. and thats all fine but honestly? the way i see it is i think if a label makes you happy. if it makes you feel good or makes you feel comfy in it. as long as youre not trying to be predatory or chase anyone else who belongs in that community. then i think its FINE if you use that label.

labels are about describing our experiences and none of them are perfect. i just think that if it genuinely makes you feel good then it shouldn’t be closed off to you.

i love and support he/him lesbians, trans people who haven’t or don’t want to transition, and really just anyone else who feels like they can’t use a label just because someone else would tell them they’re not allowed.
