i’ve just never heard of anyone being i. the hospital for 3 months for depression.

but also let’s talk about how congressmen get 3 months PTO for being “depressed” but the rest of us get treated like it’s a personal and moral failure for being depressed

feeling concerned about my medicaid stuff rn and worried it won’t be resolved before they cut my benefits and i won’t have access to my health insurance

i just don’t know why they wouldn’t simply ask me to verify my income before moving straight to terminating my benefits

i requested a hearing online and also checked boxes asking them to try and resolve the “conflict” without/before a state hearing. not sure when or how that will be

just got mail saying g my medicaid benefits are being terminated bc my “income isn’t verified” even tho i sent them all the documents they needed and sent them pay stubs at the beginning of the year. now i have to fucking appeal the decision. i’m so upset and mad and worried. i can’t fucking afford health insurance so i’m fucked if they won’t reinstate my benefits.

i think it was my junior or senior year of high school (2011-2012 or so) when i had my own car & could drive to school i used to pick up my best friend who lived in my meighborhood and we’d drive to school together. and every single morning we’d listen to glamorous by fergie at like 6:45 am. that ritual still holds a special place in my heart and maybe i need to bring it back lol. it can rly set the tone for the day u know.

okay so i had started smoking weed again because it’s fun and i love doing substances lol. i don’t think that’ll ever change about me. but i am running low on my stash now and i think im going to take another t break for a couple months again. to save money, give my lungs and darn break, and hoping it will also maybe help reset my habits and try and get my screen time down??

i kind of like this idea of intermittent t breaks, have a couple months on, a couple months off… we’ll see but i think im starting this morning!! although my tummy is very upset so idk i might end up smoking to help my stomach lol it hurts rn

going on a stupid walk for my stupid mental health. trying to move my body more because the older i get the more worried i am about aging i want to get strong and work out so i age healthy and live longer. or rather i want to want to do that. but so far im just not there yet idk. but i al going for a walk now

i finished there there it was gooood but the ending kind of took my by surprise and it was really actually tragic but definitely 5 stars for me. incredible first novel by tommy orange, ambitious and pulled off with mastery and skill
