Think of not using couchsurfers ever again, here's why: 1. Too many flaky people and fake references. I've seen so many cases where dudes start acting like stereotypical offended milennials simply because you declined their offer without saying a thing. How entitled do you have to be to think I owe you an explamation? Or simply because you don't tolerate dumb excuses and sugarcoating shit. Not to mention the petty dudes who write negative references with the whackiest false claims (be it shit like "He shat on the floor, he is a homosexual with mental illnes and asked me for money", etc). 2. Customer support sucks along with the admins. The whole process of reporting someone, especially if it's a reference is hella inconvenient and in most cases doesn't work. In a lot of the cases you gotta wait for days, sometimes even weeks for shit to be resolved sometimes not properly. I've seen many REAL couchsurfers that have at least 2 or 3 pictures of them getting their profiles deleted, because "they're fake" while actual FAKE profiles without a single picture of a person or their home who write fake negative references and are reported to be fake at least 2 times stay active.
