I honestly cannot say how much I love this. People are going to talk so you might as well give them something to talk about. Let them talk about your dedication, your work ethic, your integrity.

This is a nice articulation of what I’ve been unable to verbalize. This is what I want, this is what I admire in my favorite attendings and residents. They are so good, work so hard, do their best, and their reputations proceed them.

Yes! Everyone knows them, and tells other students to request that preceptor. Even the doctors who don’t like to teach respect them and recommend you should bug that person instead. Their patients love them, and they are just inspiring and amazing to work with.
