name : julianne “ jules “ vaughn .
residence : euphoriaville , southern california .
the number of blankets : depends on the season : during the warmer months , bedsheets and a pink summer quilt her grandmother made for her a few years ago ---- allows for it , with very lightweight duvet. if it’s a chilly night he’ll wear a hoodie instead of sleeping shirtless as usual.
the number of pillows : she likes having a lot of pillows , however by morning , all of them , but two , are on the floor . she hugs one of them , and uses the other for her head .
type of clothes : i ‘ mma assume this means the kind of clothes they sleep in due to context : she sleeps in her underwear , and shirts from pajama sets she has accumulated over the years . when it ‘ s colder , she wears said pajama sets bottoms along with large t - shirts she steals from her dad .
do they sleep with company ? : surprisingly , she sleeps better on her own . when she does sleep with company , it takes her a while to fall asleep : she becomes hyper aware of her breathing , and her movements , and how these may bother the person she is sharing a bed with . she only manages to fall asleep once the other person has fallen asleep .
does it matter where they sleep ? : yes . to jules , her bedroom is her most sacred space . a place where she does not feel like she has to tame , hide or heighten any aspect of herself in order to fit into whatever idea of her people have in their mind . a place where she can be herself . no masks . this is why she will always sleep better in her own bed than in anyone else ‘ s .
what do they do if they cannot fall asleep ? : scroll through tik tok & twitter . texting . go through profiles on dating apps .
frequent dreams , nightmares ? : during the events of season one , jules started having dreams of her teeth falling out --- they do not happen every night , nor every other night --- but they are still current .
deep slumber or naps ? : neither --- she ‘ s a light sleeper , and whenever she does nap , it just ends up with her either groggy , and moody when she wakes from it --- or oversleeping , and throwing her entire sleep schedule .
when do they sleep ? : on school nights , she “ goes to bed “ anywhere between 10 : 30 p . m . , and 12 : 00 a . m . --- but it is a minimum of half an hour of scrolling on her phone from the time she gets into bed to the time she falls asleep .
what could wake them up ? : like i said , she ‘ s a pretty light sleeper . an habit she developed from being woken up by loud crashes , or fights : her mother getting home in the late hours of the night . she can be woken up by anything , which is why she thinks any noise or movement she makes would wake up anyone she ‘ s sharing a bed with .
