It's unfair how little in this fandom we talk about the moment when Andrew convinced Neil to keep the phone. Like Andrew's words were so powerful they left Neil speechless and with his mouth open.

But the thing I like most of all is that before this Andrew bothered enough to install a ringtone with the song that was associated with Neil.

I just think about Andrew hearing this song once somewhere and then after a while he decided that it's perfect to be a ringtone on his crush's phone. Andrew is such a romantic

It’s so funny that Kevin is the one who’s been shipped with absolutely everyone: Jean, Andrew, Neil. Jeremy is literally his canon crush!! and somehow every single one of those crushes eventually collides with each other without Kevin having any involvement whatsoever. please, I’m begging, include Kevin in at least one pairing. like, look to the right: Andrew and Neil are making out. look to the left: Jean pulls the last piece of Jeremy's clothing off. and then there’s Kevin Day, stuck in the middle of this entire disaster, looking around like:

“Does anyone even care that in at least one version of this story, every single one of you is responsible for me getting wet? And by the way, you’re all only dating because I made it happen! No, no, don’t stop. Please, keep devouring each other. Really. Don’t mind me. Seriously, no need to thank me.”

In my opinion, the first time Andrew truly trusted Neil was when he gave him his knives (let Neil take it to be exact) and left himself fully unarmed around him. In all the other times we can see Andrew's trust in Neil before that, Andrew still had control on situation. For many years cuts and the weight of the knives on his armbands were something that let him keep it. Giving Neil his knives meant giving him all of Andrew's control which he was always so afraid to lose but didn't hesitate to hand it over to Neil because he knew he wouldn't take advantage of it. I love them

I'd love to see the universe where Andrew never kissed Neil on that roof and they would just continue getting closer and closer, trust each other more and more as years pass. They would always be around each other, feel each other, protect each other (maybe even casually touch each other) and all of that stuff they do now but just without kissing and sex stuff. Would they be considered as friends? Absolutely no. They would be just Andrew and Neil as they are until the tension is finally broken with one kiss. No matter when it happens there would be no difference between their relationship before that because trust and desire to be close are what makes Andreil. Kissing and sex are just a nice bonus.

Tbh I don't think I've ever read anything better than fics where Neil and Andrew are neighbors. How they slowly start to notice small things about one another just because they live next to each other, start a conversation because of some stupid thing, share their truths, then hang out together in each other's apartment and boom they kiss. I've read too many of them and I don't wanna stop please give me more it's always amazing
